from Doug:

My wife is a great user of The Toronto Public Library system, for online research, books and DVD's. She requests items online and when they arrive at the local branch, she has a week to pick them up. In the DVD category (limited TV too for that matter) we tend to watch British programs. One that got our interest a few years ago was MI5. Initially each DVD from the library had a single one-hour episode. Recently they have bundled a season (8 episodes) onto three DVD's in one package. As one can borrow DVDs for only one week, and as season 8 and 9 arrived over the last two weeks, we have had two weekends in a row with four evenings of entertainment. Did enjoy them, but I am glad that they are only now shooting season 10 - I don't need another for a while..
