Toronto – July 31, 2012 – Leading property and casualty insurer RSA has
introduced a significant enhancement to help increase broker efficiency

OSFI revises Earthquake Exposure Guideline.
The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) is proposing changes to guideline B-9, Earthquake Exposure Sound Practices, for property and casualty insurance companies in Canada.
Admonished for high wages, ICBC raises rates.
On the same day B.C. Finance Minister Kevin Falcon admonished the
Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) for high wages and
inflated management, the auto-insurer was given approval to boost its
rates by 11.2%.

IBC: Alberta wind and thunderstorm insured costs over $100 million.
TORONTO, Aug. 14, 2012 - Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) reports that
the estimated insured damage caused by the recent severe thunderstorm
event that hit the Edmonton area in July amounts to more than $100
million.
