Sun Life Financial goes paperless for new clients
With a growing demand to make claims payment faster, easier and environmentally sustainable, Sun Life Financial has made an industry-leading move to implement its e-Payment Standard. This method will now be the preferred setup for paying benefit claims through direct deposit for new plan sponsor accounts and at policy renewal for existing sponsors. For plan members, this eliminates the process of receiving and depositing cheques, and replaces it with payments being processed and deposited into their bank account usually within 48 hours.
eMarketer: proximity mobile payments rising steadily
Proximity mobile payments are not yet very popular in the US – eMarketer estimates that such point-of-sale payments using a mobile phone as a payment device, whether via near-field communications or other contactless technology, will total just $640 million this year. But that's an increase of 283% over last year's even smaller base, and a number that will rise a further 234% by the end of next year.

I had to look it up, but there have been worse scores in soccer, but not if we compare playing countries. Australia beat Tonga 22-0 and I can almost understand that comparing the makeup of the countries:

There really is not a lot to say other than to pass on the comment made to the NY Times article that perhaps we (Canadians) should implement the reverse of the three players from Cuba's soccer team who defected before the game, and ask our players not to return.
