FSCO Bulletin: Usage-Based Automobile Insurance Pricing in Ontario
The Financial Services Commission of Ontario has released a bulletin on usage-based insurance pricing. The purpose of this bulletin is to communicate to insurers the Superintendent's additional considerations and requirements for automobile insurance filings that contain a usage-based insurance pricing component and thus facilitate the process of preparing as well as reviewing these filings. The bulletin is to be used in conjunction with the Filing Guidelines applicable for private passenger automobile (PPA) filings for rates or risk classification systems.
